About the role
We’re looking for a Senior AI Systems Engineer to build the core engine of Brava. You won't just be fine-tuning models; you’ll be architecting the bridge between natural language prompts and executable, full-stack application code. You are building the tool that builds tools. Your work will directly impact how the next generation of founders creates software.
Who you are
- You have deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and modern React environments.
- You have experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and orchestration layers.
- You understand Abstract Syntax Trees (ASTs) and how to programmatically manipulate code.
- You care deeply about latency; you want the AI to code as fast as the user thinks.
- You are pragmatic about AI limitations and skilled at implementing guardrails to prevent hallucinations.
What you’ll do
- Design and optimize the "Agent Loop" that plans, writes, and debugs user applications.
- Improve the context management system so Brava "remembers" large codebases accurately.
- Implement real-time code streaming to minimize time-to-first-token.
- Collaborate with product designers to create seamless generative UI patterns.
- Push the boundaries of what is possible with autonomous coding agents.
